It is hard to believe that the school year is coming to an end. We’re taking full advantage of the weather and celebrating all of the hard work and accomplishments we have earned this year by spending the day at the Hartt Island Resort and Water Park (Bucket Club)! We will be enjoying the heated outdoor pool with 185’ twister slide, 40’ twin pro-racer slides, toddler slide, and vortex whirl pool. We will also be playing a round of 18-hole Mini-Putt. There is an option for students to purchase treats, but we will be having our own picnic on site as a class. Please send in a bagged lunch with your child and a bottle of water. We will keep the lunches and beverages in a cooler or have someone deliver them from the school.
The children will be leaving the school and walking to the Bucket Club at approximately 9:30 A.M. and returning at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 15th. We will request that a police officer escort us across the highway where we will then proceed along the walking trail (both ways).
Please send your child with appropriate clothing. They should have a full change of clothes, towel, bathing suit, sunscreen, hat, and sandals (optional).
There is no cost for the trip. Please sign and return the attached permission slip or email Marilyn.Allaby@nbed.nb.ca or matt.mcguire@nbed.nb.ca by Friday, June 8th. We are looking for parent volunteers to help out as well. If you are able to spend the day with us and help supervise, please indicate so at the bottom of the attached slip. I am certainly looking forward to celebrating our year with this amazing group of students!
